rganist, composer Thomas F. Savoy is the founder of the New York Catholic Chorale. Over a 34 year career, he has held several positions in the dioceses of Albany, NY and St. Petersburg, FL. He is currently director of music at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Albany, NY . Mr. Savoy is past conductor of the RPI Chorale and currently director of the Fort Orange Singers in Albany, NY. He has conducted his own ensembles in choir tours of England, Germany, Austria and Italy.

Mr. Savoy has been the recipient of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians' composition award as well as several grants and commissions. He is also a sought after arranger of both sacred and popular music. Mr. Savoy's works are published by G.I.A Pub., World Library Pub., and his own company, Savoy Music House - a music engraving and publishing corporation in Duanesburg, NY.

As an organ recitalist and piano/organ accompanist he has played concerts throughout the Northeast, Florida, Milwaukee and New York City.

In a lighter vein, he and partner-lyricist Byron Nilsson regularly perform programs of cabaret songs (Flanders and Swann, Tom Lehrer, etc.). They have also written works for musical theatre. Mr. Savoy lives in Duanesburg, NY with his wife Deborah and their five children - Emalie, Jonathan, Bradley, Theodore and Noel.
